Remarks

The admission process is online for Honors students and offline for general. There is no entrance exam to admit here. Reservation benefits are available. Candidates who have passed out 12th with a minimum of 50 percent of marks are eligible for admission in the Honors category.

I had a keen interest in English literature so I took admitted here. But it was not easy for me. I had waitlisted to admit. A student should have 50 percentage marks in English subject to be eligible for this course. As there is no entrance exam. The admission process is Online. The duration of my course was 3 years. Before the final exam, there is a test exam every 6 months.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are reasonable. You can pay via cash or cheque. My total course fee is around INR 6000. I did apply for a minority scholarship and it helped me a lot during my course. I didn't get any job opportunities from campus.

Campus Life

Each and every year an annual fest is held. The program is fabulous. Various artists are invited to this fest. Also, Navin Boron, Saraswati Puja, 23rd January, 26th January 15th August are celebrated here.

The field tricks are done sometimes to make us understand the reality and the course is really good. I love that and the field trip helps us a lot to explain and to learn things that happening around us and foods are provided from the school or sometimes on trips, I'm really happy with my college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because it has lots of scope in future to get a job and also it is a good subject or my National language. In this college lots of faculty has been given to the students. Well, I am also a new student but I can say that all teaching and non teaching staff and also the office staff are very humble to the students and they help us a lot. I am in B.A. 1st year student and lots of faculty has been given by our beloved teachers and office staff. The teachers are very humble by nature and the way they taught us is really mind blowing I am very grateful that I am a student of those teachers. In every 6 months, you have to give one semester examination and as I already told you that I am a new student and my exam is in February month so I do not have experience with the paper and how difficult it to pass but I can say you read properly you can pass the exam in Good marks.

The Honest statements about Burdwan Raj College.

1. I also applied for Bishnupur Ramananda college and I also got a seat there but i choose this college because of it's NAAC grading which is B++ ,but the system and universities pressure are on another level than that college. 2. I also applied to some well known colleges but i couldn't make it cause I had science stream in +2, which is a lot disadvantage and also I don't had very good marks in my +2. 3. The admission process is totally Merit base , like they will qualify you by checking your marksheet of +2 and they'll give you merit score and by that you can get an admission but the registration method is so much time holding which i discussed before....Read More
