The admission process is through JEE Main counseling. As it is through a centralized system, hence the system of Reservation exists. Depending upon various lists one can check his /her rank, and whether he has qualified according to the cutoff. All the Cutoff Lists and admission-related procedures, one can get at the IPU website including the Application form. After this, one is supposed to visit the college for seat blocking and further document verification. The document verification process would be Offline.

Exams were all easy to Pass as checking done by the Teachers here is lenient (easy) as compared to other colleges of IPU (GURU GOBIND SINGH INDRAPRASTHA UNIVERSITY), DELHI. Sometimes if some teacher is a little strict, you would have to work a little more hard to crack the Exam. Otherwise, the Teaching faculty is really good and understanding. They help students even outside formal classes with Extra Notes and previous years' exam papers. All Teaching faculties are minimum M.Tech Qualified, and many have completed their Ph.D. or pursuing their respective fields. Term exams are conducted twice a year, one in November-December and the other in May-June. Here in MSIT, we have only one cycle of UNIT Tests in a semester which is very positive for students as faculty don't want to put extra pressure on students and they understand, that even once they were also students.

Amazon recruit for SDE Role which is initially an internship for a few months for 40-45 k as stipend(provided you can crack the interview). Which later transforms into Full-time PPO(Pre-placement Offer) Many other companies also recruit for internships through individual efforts of Placement officers or College Societies which call for yearly Internship events from companies coming from Outside pool campus. Minor and Major Projects in Pre Final and Final semesters i.e.. the 7th and 8th semester is also very important. Companies generally see the Projects and Internships you did during those B.Tech years which counts on your Attitude, Experience, and Exposure to The Outside world full of Knowledge and Opportunities.

From the 6th semester, one starts getting opportunities to apply for Internships and Full-time roles. Always good to develop some skills before applying for jobs. Like courses in Data Science, Cloud, AI, ML using Python, Java and other languages, etc. The highest package went for 55 lacks in Microsoft and the average package is 4 lakhs in IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. Many companies come for recruitment like Amazon, Samsung, ZS, MuSigma, etc. With packages ranging from 6 -12 lacks. Thanks to the Pandemic, all recruiting procedures went Online allowing many companies to easily recruit Online without having to travel to The College. Almost 60%-70 % get placed. Excluding others who for higher education and self business and other opportunities.

The overall cost for my course was 1,18,000 in the 2017 batch which has now increased to 1,35,000 for the 2021 batch. Overall it won't take more than 1,50,000 yearly including travel and Food Expenses. (Excluding Hostel). Hostel stay charges- (50-60 k) /year. Only outside Delhi students are allowed to take Hostel. Other than this, there are various scholarship schemes provided by the College and IPU University, There is Financial Assistance cum Scholarship Scheme provided by Delhi Government depending upon one financial income slab which many students take benefit from. 100% Tuition fees waived off - With up to 1 Lac Family income annually. (Green card) A food Security card is needed as proof 50% - up to 2,50,000 Family Income(income certificate as proof) 25% - up to 6,00,000 Family Income (family income certificate as proof) Min. qualifying marks to be eligible for Scholarship is 60 %

There are many societies, college clubs in which one can enroll. These societies are always helpful for personality development and Skill Development according to one's own choice. Like IEEE - Technical Society of College (for Tech enthusiasts), OCTAVE - Musical Society, Prakriti- Environmental. Society in College with focusing more on Environment Events like Earth Day, Swatch Bharat, Blood Donation camps organized including Cultural and Musical events. Rotract Club also works on Social Issues like Environment, Poverty, Woman Empowerment. Other than this, many other societies which one can surf from College website at www. site.in
