Entrance Preview

I am a Chartered Accountant by profession and it takes a lot to be one. The education imparted here is really of high standard. I will always remain thankful.

Course Curriculum Overview

Very theoritical, narrative and based on practicals. We had 5 hours of college session in which we learn each aspect of the course curriculum very deeply. Theories including practicals make a great combination.

Placement Experience

As i was a CA aspirant, i did not took placement from college. I never cared for the placements from college as my aim was to become a Chartered Accountant.

College Events

Annual fest, Sports day, engineering fest, elocution contest. I participated as host in many of the events, though never become a participant in any of the events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Economical. Mine was Rs. 4000 a year that time. This was the most among other colleges but here at our college, discipline was must so took admission here.

LIFE AT ST THOMAS, BHILAI

Course Curriculum Overview:

The real world exposture is zero, no industrial visits and no presentation and no modern teaching methods are provided and adapted. For this field atleast modern teaching methods should be adapted. Teachers should work more on giving practical knowledge, more internship opportunities should be provided. Industrial visits should be increased. Preparation for Group disscussion and interview shold start.

The Beautiful campus and hostel things too

Placement Experience:

Firstly they offer internship on 5 sem for 5 6 months paid unpaid too For bcom hons they offer apply legal raipur which is paid internship For bcom it is hard to find paid internship because we have to work on ca firms which is hard under the government rules many of the students get placement of they done their work very well

Not as per my expectations

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen this course as this is an honors degree also I am from a commerce background. And I want to know about all the concepts of commerce and the economy. There is a Concise curriculum for this course. Faculty to the student is quite less as it is a private university Faculties are changed regularly. And. In their place, a visiting faculty pursuing a master's or Ph.D. is engaged to cover up the syllabus until and unless any assistant professor joins the university. So that was the lack that was where we were lacking in the 5th semester.

Best college in Raipur

Remarks:

Amity is improving from year to year. We faced some problems there but now everything has improved so much. They have proper faculties now. Also they have guest faculties for some subjects. A specialized teacher for an important subject.
