Eligibility of the course: At Undergraduate level the college offers B.Com course for the commerce stream students. So anyone who has passed there schooling that is 10+2 from a English Medium or with English as a subject is considered eligible to apply for B.Com in this college. However, the admissions are purely on the basis of merit and cutoff in qualifying the 10+2 examinations. Application Process: The application can be both offline as well as offline. Following are the steps- - Visit the college office in person -Pay the application fee & obtain the form -Fill the application form with the relevant details & submit. The application can also be made online at the college website by paying the relevant fee online. Reservation Benefits: Around 3% seats for differently abled students & 5% for students from different states. Improvement: For me the admission process was real smooth. So I find the it to be the best of my experience so currently I see no improvements required.

Well I joined B.Com at this college as I was also pursuing my CA professional course along with and the college supports the journey well. Most of the teachers here are from Gujarat and around 57% of them has a Ph.D. and have been in the college for a long time. The teacher-taught ratio and the mentor- mentee ratio are far from ideal. The college plans the next academic year in advance and adhere to that. So the term exams are usually timely as per the academic plans and students are communicated of the same time to time. Also almost 95% of the final year students who appear for the university examination pass the examination.

The college conducts placement programme every year and a lot of good companies do participate too. These companies comprises the local as well as the multinational companies too. The packages however offered are generous and I may say good for a starter. However not many got placed and even though get placed they do have further study plans after B.Com most of the times. As I was already doing my CA, I really did not even tried for campus. But even with a professional degree in hand what I really felt was that yes people do ask you the college from where you graduated and hence for me it was of utmost importance to end up with a good college having a wide presence.

The fee structure though changes every year and there is a hike of around 5-10% as per the changes in offerings of the college. The cost however for B.Com first year in HLCC is around 3000 for the first year and increased accordingly every year.

There are a lot of campus activities conducted in the college. These includes fairs, events, expos, freshers, farewells and a lot more. The library of the college is a huge center of knowledge. There are a lot of books available and the silence and infrastructure is adorable. The classrooms are quite large and spacious too. The college infrastructure I may say is the best among the peer colleges. They also encourages the sports and a lot of other extra curricular activities at the campus.
