MHT CET In the score i secured i could get admission in this institute many friends referred me to this institute also the fees was quite reasonable as compared to other institutes.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for marketing 1st year was common for marketing, finance & hr 2nd year was specific for each specializationThere were 4 semesters, with 2 months internship between 1st and 2nd year apart from curriculum, there were management events and guests lectures round the year.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Godrej, Sun Pharma, Merck, Jones lang lasalle, Motilal oswal, NSC, citi bank, hdfc bank, icici bank, crisil, darashaw, fcb ulca, neilson, L&T finance, TAM, etc stipend depends on companies I got a stipend of INR 7500 pm from Sun Pharma during 2011 2012.

Placement Experience

Nearly 90 % of the students were placedCompanies from all the sectors participated in placements, ICICI 6 LPA, Sun Pharma 3.5 LPA, Darashaw 10 LPA, Thomas Cook 9 LPA, Crisil 6 LPA, Raymond 5 LPA, FCB ULCA 3 LPA, Naukri.com 4 LPA, Citi bank 5 LPA, Tata motors 5 LPA, HDFC 6 LPA.

Since the fees were already subsidized, no such facilities were available loan you can get easily due to the goodwill of the institute.

Campus Life

Campus life was awesome they organise 3 days PD camp at Khandala which adds to the flavour there are frequent management games, sports (TT, badminton, cricket), debates etc organised at the institutes.

Hostel Facilities

There were no hostels of the college as such but they tie up with near residential buildings, it was on twin sharing basis food to be arranged of our own, no mess facility.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is comparatively weak, which institute is trying hard to strengthen they organise annual get together for alumni they keep on sending mailers to alumni.

Exam Structure

We had 2 exams per semester, so there were 8 exams in 2 years exams were mostly written structured similar to what we have in schoolsPower point presentations & computer labs also had were part of exams.

Faculty

There were 20 permanent faculties and 10 visiting faculties faculties were from premier institutes like IIM, TISS, XLRI, IIT etc faculties were rich in knowledge and very helpful.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I had applied for Welingkar,TISS, GIM. I could not attend the process for getting into it because of family issue and time goes the application for this colleges get closed and one option was remain so I applied and took the addmission into NL Dalmia. Yes I get rejection from TISS because I couldn't clear the cut off marks required for this college. Addmission Process For NL Dalmia :- Round 1 :- Group Discussion Filteration Round : Giving any random topic (Current Affairs related to market) (Around 7,8 student seat together for this round pannel is around 2) Round 2 :- Personal Interview :- Checking the Knowledge about the Bachelor Subject and If experience could ask the question relevant to it. To sum it up

Admission process was easy and eveything was conveyed via the website of the college which any one can refer. Eligibility of the course is through any one of the entrance tests with particular score in all of the tests respectively. As I submitted my scorecard of both CMAT and MAH-CET, with ~84%ile and ~96%ile respectively, I was shortlisted for the PI round, as the second stage for the final selection process. The details regarding application form, application fees, and all vital dates were available over the net.
