I had applied for DU as well but chose Arya College as it provides campus placements. The admissions were on the basis of rank in Arya, my rank was 3351 and it is one of the best ranks in my class (CSE) so you might get an idea of how much would be enough.

It is quite obvious for anyone to choose CSE in the current scenario, it has got the best placements and has a lot of scope in the future. The student-teacher ratio is around 1:50. The teachers are very encouraging and helpful. The teaching methods are also very good. They all have experience of up to 30 years and there are a lot of Ph.D. as well. The teachers are very interactive with the students. Also, there is a 3rd party organization that works for the welfare of the students.

The companies offering internships include mass recruiters such as TCS etc. The stipend is around 30000 per month. As for projects, the curriculum includes a subject for every sem where you have to submit a project.

You will be able for internships from the 1st year for internships, I myself have classmates who are interns in the corporate world. As for placements, you will be eligible from the third year and 80% of students get campus placements with an average package of 8 lacs, the highest package was around 20lacs. After getting my degree I'm thinking of vesting myself into a startup as is the environment here.

The fees at first seem to be quite high but the campus life is worth it. You will find a completely different society once you come on campus. The college conducts its entrance test and offers scholarships up to 25% off in tuition fees to meritorious students. Also after getting admission the college offers scholarships to needy and talented students.

The college has devoted a particular area to cultural events. There are a lot of fests; for all students, for only hostel students, for students of a particular branch or stream. The entertainers are also high profile like Tiger Shroff, Shahrukh Khan, and many more. The library is quite large and includes a complete floor of one of the academic buildings. It is fully ac and has a very comfortable seating arrangement. The classrooms are also fully ac and are furnished with individual tables each having a charging port, also the teaching boards are digital. There are a lot of clubs as well including technical, sports and cultural. Though most of them are paid but still very affordable.

The environment inside the hostel is very open and there are almost no restrictions. The hostel rooms have two students each with an attached lat-bath. The hostels have centralized ac. Also, there is some kind of sports ground attached with each hostel, indoor or outdoor. Along with this, there is a cafe, restaurants and general stores, one doesn't need to leave campus to purchase anything. There is an open mess with separate counters for veg food. The food in itself is just superb. As for sports, there is a separate complex for indoor sports. The facilities for outdoor sports are also really good.
