Great for Placement but lacks Campus life.

The admission process was pretty smooth. The entire admission process was completed within two hours. I was not asked to give any Entrance Exams. They just asked my 12th percentage and offered me a seat. My admission process was Direct Admission from which the majority of students get admitted. But another popular way is through UPSEE Entrance Exam. I hadn't had a very good percentage in my 12th, so, they offered me the ECE branch, from which I was satisfied, although my first preference was Computer Science. Reservation Benefits are available for candidates admitted through UPSEE only. The entire admission process was conducted on the first floor of the Administrative Block Building. There is no application fee I had to pay. Overall my experience was average, I believe they should offer branches through various other parameters not only the 12th percentage.

Courses for my branch(ECE) was updated that year and lots of modern subjects were included in my course. I selected the ECE branch because of the benefits of placements in both software as well as hardware industry. The faculty of my branch is also very experienced and well versed. Most of my faculty have PhD degrees with few faculty having Masters degrees. Faculty to student ratio is 35:1 in the ECE branch. Most of the Faculty chooses to teach us on White/Black Board, but few teachers also prefer projector. There is also a Faculty review system in our college where students can rate their Faculty members. Now, as our college become an Autonomous institute, there is lots of freedom available to our college to conduct exams. So almost all exams are conducted on time and results are also published on time. The difficulty level is mostly the same as AKTU exams, students have to study more to pass the semester exams.

There are lots of Internship opportunities available for students. Most of the opportunities are for final year students. HCL, Samsung, Hitachi, Oppo, etc offer internships. Stipend lies between 40-50 thousand. There are lots of research projects done in our college in the field of AI and Machine Learning. Our college also focuses on Research.

Placement is the strong point of our college. Almost all the eligible students get placed here. Final year students are eligible for Campus Placement. Companies that visit our campus are Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, Accenture, Infoedge, Samsung, VMware, HCL, L&T, etc. Most of the offers are in the range of 3.5-5 lakhs. But recently students get even as high as 11 lakhs offer. One of our seniors got placed in Amazon with a 32 lakh package. The average Package is 4 lakhs. Around 90% of students get placed in our college. This is the top placement figure for all colleges in Greater Noida. I am also looking for a good placement offer from the college.

At the moment their tuition fee is Rs.103000 per year. Their overall fees are Rs.113000 per year including exam fees. But first year students have to pay upward of Rs.151000 per year, which includes admission fees. Apart from these fees, there is no extra cost of study. The scholarship opportunity is available in our college. Most of the scholarship is Government Aided such as State and Central Scholarship scheme with few scholarships offered from our institute itself. Financial assistance is provided by our institute to those who need it, but I have never heard anyone get it. There are also no part-time Jobs available for side income. I advise students to look for online opportunities for side income.

Campus and Social life are the only weak points of our college. Our campus is small in size and there is also not anything else is available in the neighbourhood of our college. Fests are also not organized frequently. There is also no sports culture in our college. There are some clubs available but those are also mostly not active. Our library is pretty big. It has most of the books and journals a student can need. Classrooms are also average. There are Cricket club, Dance club, Music club, Coding club etc. Students can roam around freely in the campus. There is a Cafeteria available, so students can pass their time there also.

I had stayed in a hostel in my first year. Hostels are good in our college. The rooms are spacious. The corridors are clean. Water is purified. There is also a gym and sports facilities available. Beds, Mattress, Table and Chair are provided. One Cafeteria is also available. Meals in the mess are average. They offer a wide variety of items on the menu. Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Dinner are provided in mess. Washing machines are also available. The registration process is the same. Students have to contact Hostel in Charge in Administrative Block and then pay Hostel Fees. Most of the college student lives in PG or Flat in the nearby area. Surajpur, Alpha, Beta are some localities where the student stays. Rooms are affordable in this area.
