SATI Vidisha

I got admission to the college through JEE main entrance exam. It is conducted 4 times a year. After which mpdte counseling was held in which I was allowed SATI Vidisha. Branch and college allotment is based on jee the main rank. The application form for counseling is available on the mpdte website. It is held after jee exam each year.

I had chosen the course because it has good opportunities in the future and had a very good scope. Faculty: student ratio is about 1:30. Faculty are very good in teaching methods. They listen to all the students and clear their doubts timely. And also provides good platforms to develop an interest in the subject. Term exams are held once in 2 months. The semester duration is about 6 months. Papers are easy.

College provides fewer internship opportunities but someone who studies well can easily get the internship. Companies visit colleges to provide interns. You can also work on various projects to maintain your cv. And grade factor is very much important to get a good intern and also for placements.

Students can avail of placement offers from starting of the 4th year. However, PPO's are also offered to them. About 40 companies visit the campus each year for placement offers. The highest package offered from CSE is about 25 lakhs. Although other branches also provide good opportunities for placements. Companies of every field visit on the campus. The percentage of students getting placement varies from branch to branch.

The fee structure in college varies on income and caste. There are scholarships for students with income below 5 lakhs. Others have to pay the whole tuition fees i.e. 30000 per year. Although students can avail the benefits of various scholarship schemes by the government. In my whole fee amount is refunded including the hostel fee.

Fests are conducted for freshers as well a college organized fest held every year. Every type of book is available with a well-developed study environment in the library. Classrooms are also well developed with various labs and projectors. Sports and games competitions are held every weekend. Various sports clubs and organizations are also present in college. Besides this various tech clubs, machinery clubs, and cultural clubs are present in college.

The hostel room is good although we have to share it with our fellow mates. The room is big, you can easily survive in the room. The meal is provided thrice a day. The menu varies daily and specials on weekends. The quality of food is moderate. Hostel registration is done through the form and is easy can be afforded by anyone. Although it's a government college.
