Remarks
Narayana Business School (NBS) is the place where student not only learn academics, also the corporate exposure is given to each student. The best part about NBS is that there is no other course apart from management and NBS is among the very few institutions that are not operated or run by any politician, community or any other institutions. NBS offers a great learning platform for students, opportunities to showcase their skills and talents through performing in events, presentations, competitions and guiding them to success that's what has been the key feature of NBS to get 100% ROI now since college started. Also, NBS is awarded for being in the top-10 b-schools in India and ranked 53rd among all the private management colleges in India by IIRF 2022. I'm glad to be a part of NBS and looking forward to a bright future with my fellow batchmates and beloved faculty.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for PGDM dual specialisations as this course offers more practical corporate exposure to the students then MBA. And NbS offers great opportunity to students to learn and provide them proper corporate exposures. Faculty at NBS is highly qualified and experienced. There teaching methods are different from others but what they do is the best, love the way they teach.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Tenhard, Vivo, Brisk India, SumiP, Outlook, etc. Has given opportunities to the students to do internships with them in marketing, finance, HR and other specializations as well. The stipends were also good and many of the students were star performers in the companies.
Placement Experience
From tri-sem 3 students get opportunities for internships. Till now many companies like Tenhard, Brisk India, PhonePe, Vivo, S&P global and many more companies has visited till now. I'm looking forward to getting a good internship at the college itself.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees were 6.5 lakh and it was hiked to 65,000 only in the year 2021. NBS provide internship opportunities to all the students and allow students to get an intern from outside the college as well. Even in the covid times, the students got the opportunity to get an intern in the companies both online and offline.
Campus Life
NBS also offers sports opportunities to the students, the college has both indoor and outdoor facilities for the students like outdoor basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton and a yoga garden, and in indoor billiards, air hockey, chess, carrom and table tennis etc. NBS also give opportunities to students to take part in GTU tournaments.
Interview Experience
Yes, there was a GD and PI both after the entrance exam. The GD was good the faculty let the students freely to discuss on a topic 'work from home is good or not'. Then the students were evaluated on the basis of there communication skills.
