For Political Science Hons., the candidate must have secured 55% in Political science. The duration of the course is 3 years. Also, there is no entrance exam for the college. The admission is totally in online mode.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Bhawanipur Education Society College is affiliated with Calcutta University and hence the syllabus and course curriculum go according to the CU. The faculties and the teachers are friendly and helpful to every student.
Internships Opportunities
The college offers various internships during the full course. Also, there are various clubs and collectives where you can showcase your talents and participate in different events. Several types of seminars and programs take place in the college every week.
Placement Experience
As for the placements, the college gives a good number of placements. Reputed companies like IBM, ITC, Amazon, Wipro recruit the students. Around 60% of students are given placements each year with salaries ranging from 20-30 k.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees for the first year were approximately 47000. But due to covid, the college asked the students to pay the fees half-yearly. There was no scholarship facility during my admission. The fees are quite costly compared to other colleges.
Campus Life
There is an annual fest called UMANG, where the students, as well as celebrities, perform for 3-4 days. The library is well air-conditioned and is a peaceful place for studies. All the classrooms are well air-conditioned.
