Remarks
The admission was solely online-based. The application form had to be filled out online and a fee of Rs. 450 was submitted. For the honours course, a minimum of 55% marks was necessary for the main subject. But there was no reservation for the course during my time.
Course Curriculum Overview
The teachers and faculty members of the Political Science dept were well qualified and most of the professors are Ph.D. holders. The exams are held semester wise and the exams are quite tough. The total number of students in our class exceeds 150 and there are 6 professors.
Internships Opportunities
The internships are provided by the college almost every year of the course. There are several types of internships and the college itself holds internships for the students. There are many educational tours organised by the respective departments.
Placement Experience
The placements are offered by the college in the third year of the course. The college offers a wide range of placements to the students and several top companies like Infosys, Amazon, Airtel, etc come for recruitment every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for the first year had to be paid in one installment. The total fees for the first year were approximately 45000. For the following years, the fees were reduced to around 40k in a year and had to be paid in two installments.
Campus Life
There are many collectives and clubs in which the students can be a member. They can participate in various events in the club and showcase their talents. Also, an annual fest called Umang takes place for like 4 days. Students from other colleges can also attend the fest. Moreover, the extracurricular activities are plenty in the college.
