If you don't wish to pursue any other field other than studying, this is the finest option. The professors at the college are fantastic. It provides you with a conducive environment for mental development as well as several job opportunities. You will learn a lot about programming, even if you come from the core branches. Entrance Preview
JEE Advanced is used to determine admission. And the branch to which you are assigned is determined by your rank. Physics, Chemistry, and Maths from 11th and 12th grades are included in this section. In addition, a student must get at least 75% on their boards and pass the JEE mains.

Fees and Financial Aid
A scholarship known as the MCM scholarship is given to students whose household income is less than 5 LPA. Other merit-based scholarships are more difficult to obtain.
Campus Life
IIT Madras offers large classrooms with an average student-teacher ratio of roughly 80. Wi-Fi is available in all classrooms and the library. The laboratories are likewise well-equipped. All important amenities, such as sports, the internet, and other amenities, are available in hostels. Mess also serves hygienic and nutritious food.
Faculty
