Remarks

The admission process should be more smooth and clear for the students. The admission process was a bit lengthy and took a longer time than other colleges. The sudden demand for a paper created a very panic moment among the students. So all information must be given before in a clear manner.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

From school days only I was interested in engineering, so I got this collage from jee main marks. Overall faculty of JNU is really very good and dynamic professor. Professors are friendly, supportive, and encourage innovative ideas. Exams were according to subject only as taught in class. The ratio of teaching is to the student can be said 1:20.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

As of current, no internship has been offered to students. The college said they are working on it and will soon come with internship facilities. But students individually do many projects work. Many students are carrying internships.

Placement Experience

1.5

As this course is started in 2018 and the course is of 5 years so from engineering batches no student has passed out. But here placement cell is there. As I got to know 200 companies are coming for placement to our first batches. Jnu has its connections so don't need to worry about placement much.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of jnu is a plus point from any other engineering college, as other engineering colleges are charging more than 1.2 lacks per sem here jnu offer this course in 62,000 only. Apart from this if you belong to the economically weaker section you will get financial assistance and wavier from the regular fee. 2/3rd of the fee is exempted for income Lower than 5 lakhs. And zero tuition fee is there for people belonging to income Lower than 100000. 5000-6000 extra charges are there for every semester that every student needs to pay.

Campus Life

3.5

Jnu is known for its diversity. As it offers lots of courses, here people will learn not only engineering but can get exposure to many things. And can get the idea of their interested field. Campus Life here is too good. You will love to live on the main campus. Sports activity, debate, quiz, drama club everything work really very smooth, and interesting.

Hostel Facilities

4

I'm loving in jnu hostel itself, it's located inside the campus only. Jnu is full of greenery. Roads are beautiful. Building has their own beauty. Not much tall building but whatever it is its have its own beauty. Mess is there for every hostel. And it's beside your hostel only.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
