Entrance Preview

I didn't wrote any exam, I went through management qota and the admission process were easy, the staff took all the care. The process were submitting certificate like TC, community certificate.

Course Curriculum Overview

In my college the courses offered are Mechanical, ECE, EEE and Civil. I took mech because I love those Automobile thing and about faculty they are professional. In mech dept we have around 25staff most were M.E and some Ph.D.

Internships Opportunities

For internship I will say according to my knowledge no companies came. But I will say many companies had came for placement. The placement had started in january and still some companies are coming.

Placement Experience

In my college around 150 students placed, from my dept 20. The first company came was' wipro '. The companies are like wipro, quest global, maestro steel, sundaram fastners, Sutherland, zoho, Amazon, Hcl, and many more. The salary package differs from one another, the average salary package was around 15-20k.

College Events

In my college we will not celebrate cultural but every year he conduct national level conference. Mech & Civil jointly conduct this conference named "INOMAS". As it is National level conference many students will participate in that conference and the main think Is that management will give entire permission to the students it is full and full conducted by students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As I am management student I got to pay around 60k but it is according to the Anna University prenorms. For counselling students it is 30k but we had many scholarship.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have scholarship for sc/st students, I don't the name for scholarship and the amount. And for other caste too we have scholarship. Other than oc we have scholarship. This scholarship is availed only for consulling students.

Campus Life

My campus life was very awesome experience those are memorably moments which cant be forgetted. We do have sports like cricket, basketball, football, etc. We go for tournament to other college. And others come here.

We have alumni meet conducted by our college so its easy to interact with the Seniors. The share their experience with us and its really help the students.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Before admitting in Vel Tech, I've applied in Quaid E Millath, Queen Mary's College, Nandanam Arts college, Presidency college.I chose Veltech over these because It helps me financially and academically.Even though i had less marks Veltech admitted me. Yes I did get a rejection from other colleges due to my less performance in 12th Standard. It happened because of my medical issues.
