Remarks
The admission process was offline. I have to go to a college campus and get the prospectus from the college which was around 500 rupees and the admission form was within it. They also charge some additional amounts for students who have not completed their studies from the Punjab board. There was no entrance exam and any stream student can get admission in BCA. Although one can also visit the Khalsa college website to get all information. Overall the admission process was smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview
The study is not difficult at all. The teachers have a thorough knowledge of their respective subjects and all the teachers are really helpful. I choose this course because I am really interested in learning more and more about computers. As we all know that computers are the future so I kept this in my mind and choose this course. There are house tests before actual exams which helps a lot in terms of getting an idea of how the semester exam is going to be.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for the first semester were around 35000 rupees. It was more as compared to other semesters because it also include registration fees. From the second semester, it is around 30000 rupees. There are also scholarships for scheduled caste/ tribe students. As far as I know, there are no on-campus jobs available in college.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of Khalsa college is the best. It building is an icon in itself. The library of the college has all sorts of books and one can issue books for a week or two. The computer lab has also all types of facilities available. Other and that various fests and activities are regularly held on college campuses.
