GEC Rajkot, A clear review.

I was a Physics, Chemistry and Maths student from CBSE board so I was eligible for admission in Government Engineering College rajkot after appearing I'm Gujcet. Then I filled acpc form and 300rs fees and then go for choise filling. GEC Rajkot was my 4th choice so I was fitted in cutoff and got the admission. As I'm from obc category so Cutoff was lower for me and I got admission. For getting cast benifit I had uploaded cast certificate. Entire admission process was online and conducted very smoothly.

Electronic and Communication is branch through which I can get in IT sector as well as Core so I chosen This course for my bright future. Faculty are vell qualified and have great knowledge level most of them are phd holders and we have 3to 4 teachers for 1subject in class of 120 students. And in 3rd semester our class size increases from 120 to 150 as Diploma to Degrees students also join us. We have to appear for 4exams in a year and 2in a semester one mid semester and one ene semester. Exams are easy to clear harder to score good marks.

GTU gives us opportunity to go for Internship in final semester were we have to do Internships or projects for projects one can come up with new idea and get SSIP scholarships for project in which government fund our project, for that we have to prepare presentation for project and present in from of pannel. Major project was solar panel cleaner which is failed and it was funded under ssip. Stipend based Internships based on company and role offered, if a person do great job can get placed their, many of our seniors got this type of placement.

I have payed 1500 fees for 1year and their is no fees hike policy and girls have zero fees. As I'm from obc I got 4500rs as scholarship from Digital gujarat portal one can also get MYSY scholarship but benifit of only one scholarship can be taken by one student. Just you need college bonafide and basic identification documents for scholarship.

Our college organised Brezinger every year which is one of the biggest tech tech fest in entire Gujarat. Students from different colleges visite college and participate in different competitions. College have very large librarie with huge books collection. One can use librarie card to borrow books and journals from college. College provides us free magazines for free. Spots is sector were our college lags there is nere to zero Spots facilities their is only one unpainted ground. College have many clubs like code chef, Gate club, NCC, NSS, Coders for Electronics.
