Remarks

Eligibility of the course- 12th Board pass with biology subject or medical subject. Application forms are available on the official site of the government medical college and hospital. i.e-www.gmch.in Hostel facilities need to improve fast.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I have some interest in studying anesthesia and taking a chance for it. Faculty:student ratio is- 1:2 Qualification of faculty members is Md Ms. In their particular subject, Faculty teach in a good gentle way. The session is yearly basis. We need 50% marks to pass the exam.

Class Size: 16Course Fees: INR 9400 per year

Internships Opportunities

Roles offered under an internship in government medical College itself and PGI Chandigarh and other hospitals. We have to go to the operation theatre, Intensive care unit, CSSD, blood bank, MRI, HDU, PAC etc.

Placement Experience

For the paramedics, campus placement is done after the course completion, and side with the degree we have to do clinical duty. Maximum students are able to get the placements. My plans after the completion of my degree are for pursuing my further studies and do my master's for the same course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee Structure is very low. The fee for one year is 9800 something including security. After doing a UG degree we are eligible for anesthesia and operation theatre technician in the GMCH campus as well as outer private or civil hospitals.

Campus Life

An annual fest like techno fest held in 2021. Sports meet held in 2021 Books are available in the library in huge amounts for each and every topic and course. Classrooms are properly maintained. Sports and extracurricular activities are quite less in this academic as maybe of duties or responsibility. Social groups and clubs are none.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are quite good for MBBS and BSc students, as far as I know. Rooms have individual washrooms, lighting is proper, table bed maintained, fans are installed. The meal quality is good, the maximum hostel has its own mess. The menu of mess is quite good. Registration for a hostel is done online on the official site of the government medical college and hospital. The locality of rooms is Sarai Building O-block, college of nursing and gate no.-5 of government medical college and hospital

Inside of PGI chandigarh from bsc nursing point of view.

Placement Experience:

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.

Placement Experience:

In our course curriculum the students become eligible after the 8 semester completed for the placements .many hospitals like max ,Fortis Paras hospital, manipal hospital with the average package of 20000 arrived for the placements. The highest package was offered by Fortis hospital at least 70 percent students get the placement. My plan is to join any of the hospital to enhance my nursing skills and knowledge.

Honest review for nursing collage

Placement Experience:

The pgimer gave us placement in pgimer. They gave us oppertunity to gave service as nursing officer in pgimer . All you need to get placement is the clearance of graduation from pgimer only . Then after completing your graduation you will get the offer to do the job in pgimer for further years . The pay scale is very good and in pgimer you got the great oppertunity to learn the thing because. The pgimer is the second largest and greatest medical institute in whole india so if you got the admission in pgimer then your future is in secure hands and you can live freely without any stress of future placement

Remarks:

Only the placement cell for nursing is not up to the mark. Otherwise, its an amazing place to explore yourself more. My favorite part at campus was library as it has almost all books even of international edition as well.

Remarks:

Our college is very good located in very prime location. We get student health facility when we are ill at Nehru Hospital. PGIMER has a central library and even NINE has its own library with various journals,books and research papers. Training for students and teachers is provided by Visakha program.

GMCH- the best college

The main reason of joining this was the city Chandigarh. It's a very very beautiful city and worth living. Also the new building of the college is very good and equipped with all the latest technology and the labs are also well maintained. Although mess food is bit poor but overall hostels are good too.I read reviews on shiksha.com and all these reasons helped me choose this college.Main thing is the fest conducted by gmch.
