Remarks
To get into GRIET, you need to be qualified atleast one among EAMCET, JEE. If you qualify EAMCET with a very good rank (below 2000-4000 rank for general, below 15000-16000 rank for other categories) you will be awarded with CSE seat. To get into CSE you must get the above mentioned range of ranks. You can either get GRIET - CSE seat through management quota. For this you need to pay donations.
Course Curriculum Overview
As the technology is growing vast and fast. A Computer science engineer is one of the most demanded person in the market. Computer science engineering provides the best salaries to the students. Not only because of the demand, I also had a dream of becoming a data scientist so this made me choose this course. Here in GRIET the teacher/faculty : student ratio is around 1 : 20.The professors here are well trained and had years of teaching experience. Digital education, digital library and many other methods of teaching is done. You will be writing exams as other colleges do, but the thing is you will also be writing weekly tests depending upon the subject professor. They are just to give a boost for your end semester exams.
Internships Opportunities
You will be having some student bodies like AAC AND SDC. SDC( Skill Development Cell) provides you numerous internships without any stipend. But it worths doing. You can have internships with stipends but those are only for the students who's performance is very high. In AAC you will be given many projects and tasks to sharpen your skills.
Placement Experience
From seventh semester i.e, 4th year 1st semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Many MNCs such as Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, INFOSYS,.... Etc, are tied up with GRIET. Most of the students in CSE are placed with good salary packages. The placement percentage is 98% in CSE. the highest package in 2021 is 44 LPA from CSE. And the average salary package is between 5 LPA TO 6 LPA. If you are looking at packages and placement percentage of the college to take admission then you are thinking wrong, change your perception. Colleges will only provide the map to success it's your duty to reach the correct destination.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is around 1.7 to 1.8 lakhs per annum. And for whole 4 years of B.tech you will be charged nearly 7.2 lakhs.You will be having many opportunities inside the campus. You will be provided with enough motivation to crack any kind of job interview. Many internships are offered here, you can join in any internship and get stipend. You are provided with ample of opportunities but the thing is you need to work hard and achieve the success.
Campus Life
Many social groups, clubs and organizations are there in GRIET. And a website run by students. Events are done regularly inside the campus, RHYTHMS, SPIRALS, TECH FESTS, AAC, SDC... Etc, sports are conducted, tournaments are held with other colleges. Extracurricular activities such as green campus, clean campus... Etc, are maintained. Good and clean classrooms are there. A wonderful library with access to many journals and books, And also you will be having a digital library.
