The admission process is purely based on JEE Mains Rank and no Management Quota is available here. If the rank is under 50-60k (for General students) there are quite possible chances to be admitted into the Computer Science Branch of Btech.

I did not choose this course. Basically, this course chose me. It's all a matter of rank. Talking about faculty, the faculty here at BIET is well-cooperative with generous helping hands. The student ratio is basically a lot more boys is to a lesser number of girls for a particular programme. The teaching methods which the teachers adopt are quite hard to grasp, at first, as they go a little bit fast than usual. Yeah, the exams are perfectly timely scheduled with not so difficult paper levels. The examinations range from easy to a moderate levels only.

Placements are average. According to official records of 2020-21, the campus placed approx. 32 students are placed with an average package of 3Lpa. The major recruitments came under the companies like Josh Technology, Newgen and Berger Paints. The highest package was 10LPA, though.

The cost to study is not so high, except for the IT and EE branch, as these trades are self-financed and hence are highly charged than the rest. The highest annual fee is 1.28Lakh (for IT and EE), including hostel and mess. There is Scholarship assistance, the Uttar Pradesh State Scholarship. There is separate departmental control that manages and operates Scholarship related stuff with effectiveness.

The campus is good with a little bit of scarcity of exposure! The Institute is situated on the outskirts of the city and so it's difficult to end up living a sociable-to-people life. Several techs, electronics, and sports fests take place here at BIET, Jhansi which are quite goodly oriented. There is a new library constructed here this year which is going to contain more amenities than before. This institute is more infamous for its extra-curriculum and Sports activism.

The 1st year hostel (Vrindavan Bhawan) has two floors, each floor comprising almost 50-60 rooms. The rooms are to share by 3 students, each student getting an Almirah, a table and a chair. There are 4 bathroom compartments on a single floor. The light facilities and water facilities meet a Failure sometimes, generally, but they get back shortly. The mess is good and breaks the myths of unpalatable messes. The food is quite delicious and a variety of items are cooked. The mess staff is humble and co-operative. A hosteler has to pay for the good food though, 28k a year.
