Admission generally takes place through kcet and comed, and also other payment seats. Mine was through kcet admission process was simple some 2-3 hours process, All the details for admission will be provided easily.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose mechanical engineering as per my interest towards and as this college was near to my residence. There is a huge number of faculty for every 20 students there is a mentor to guide in every situation. All the faculty are well qualified and experienced, well teaching their teaching method of student friendly. Exams are not so difficult to pass but are difficult to get full marks, Exams are conducted timely as it's autonomous everything will go fine.
Internships Opportunities
I am still in 2nd year so I don't know much about internships but as per news, there are compulsorily 2 internships for students to be part of so college encourages those. You can opt for any field you wish. Also, there is one mini project and one major project to be done where the college provides every fund required.
Placement Experience
Overall the placements in our college are good. Placement and training are done from the first sem itself. All students are eligible to attend campus placements from the fifth sem. There are several IT companies visiting our college like TSC Infosys Tech Mahindra Cognizant Bosch other core companies also visit for branch placements. The highest package recently was twenty four lakh per annum and the average salary is three lakh per annum. Almost 80 percent of students get placed in one or another company.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our college, there are two kinds of seats government aided and unaided. Aided has fee structure of around 50000 but unaided has a fee structure of a minimum of 1 lakh+. Scholarship is available for all categories from the social welfare department other scholarships are also encouraged in our college.
Campus Life
There are two fests taking place in a year kannadam Kalarava and mythri where both are cultural fests that students enjoy the most. There is a huge library where we can get all kinda books to refer to and also separate department libraries to get reference books so there is no need to buy books from outside. Classrooms are huge and student friendly. Various kinds of sports are encouraged in our college, there are separate grounds for all kinds of sports played.
