Remarks
Our college keeps revising its eligibility criteria every 5 years. For our batch, the eligibility criteria were your class 12 marks, stream as well as a knowledge based aptitude test which was taken on the day of admission by some of the college teachers by a series of rapid round questions. The entire admission process was online except for the organisation of the test which was taken offline. No reservations system admission fully to deserving candidates.
Course Curriculum Overview
For getting a Diploma in accounts you need to be a Commerce Graduate so I chose this course. With a handful of teaching faculty and a large no of students, it is difficult to manage them but they are well managed through the sound principles adopted by the teachers in their teaching and making the subject much more interesting rather than monotonous. Exams are organised on a midterm basis by the joint contribution of Cu as well as college authorities.
Placement Experience
Students in their final year are offered campus placement through companies like Tcs, KPMG and Vikas Accounts Department. The average placement in such a campus is around 4.5 lacs per annum. Around 30-40% of students get placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Discussing the fees I think one should afford to pay 5000 if u get teaching faculty as well as good job opportunities. So it has a moderate fee. For the past few years, the college is giving Scholarships through Vivekananda Scholarship Scheme being organised by the state Govt.
Campus Life
The annual fest is being organised by the College union named Umang. Dance events magic events Acting events and many other artistic events take place in the fest. College also has a library with a range of books on different topics and magazines. The classroom is very large with big benches and two rows with such benches. Our college runs its own website for publishing notices and admission procedures.
