Remarks
Overall the college has a good culture, prominent staff, ambient workplace, hygienic food, and a renowned brand name. But there is a room for improvement in the study material and the ecosystem of the college needs a nourishment from the senior management to get more leaned towards academics.
Entrance Preview
I cleared my CBSE examinations in 2012 and secured 88% with a mindset to do opt CA as my career. I was admitted in this college on the basis of my 12th percentage.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum includes subjects such as Accountancy, Economics, Taxation etc and is much related to commerce field. However there are some subjects such as English, Hindi which are not related to commerce.Faculty experience was quite bad because of their frequent absenteeism and no interest in teaching.
Internships Opportunities
There was no internship program during my tenure in the college. However a great opportunity for a job came from Bombay Stock Exchange after my graduation was completed from the college.
Placement Experience
We were offered job by BSE India as a stock broker for which we were trained by their qualified staff and some prominent teachers on the movement of stocks in the market.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Because it's a Government College, hence the fees is very feasible. Not more than Rs 6000/- for whole graduation.This is only the tuition fees structure and does not include material such as books and other stationary item.
Fees and Financial Aid
Those who secure more than 75% in aggregate in any of the year are given a medal of honor and a scholarship certificate.
Campus Life
Campus life depends upon the kind of student you are. All the facilities are available such an ambient library, all type of sporting equipment, etc.But the campus has a strong environment for those who want to get involved in politics as well.So in the end it all depends upon the kind of student you are and your interests.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are not available for Commerce College.On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate the facilities of college campus 5 and the food 8.
Exam Structure
Exams are held once in a year in the month of March and April. There are 4 compulsory subjects(Eng, Hindi, Computer Science, Environmental Studies) and the rest are optional subjects which are a mix of theory and practical.
