Remarks
The admission process was conducted in a very systematic manner. It started with a GD round followed by a Personal Interview. The admission process team was really helpful. I had filled out the application form through the college website itself. To be eligible for the course you need to have 50% in your Graduation, Class 12th and Class 10th and should have taken any of the competitive examinations like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has been well planned out. It is more practical driven than theory and thus gives us a good insight of the current industry. The faculty members have a great depth of knowledge in their own field. The best part about faculties is that they are always there to help the students out. The college has a trimester system and the college is really strict with the exams. The exams are not that difficult to pass if the fellow student paid complete attention in the class.
Internships Opportunities
There were numerous internships and live projects were made available in the college. The projects which were provided are Portfolio management and analysis, insurance analysis, risk management, recruitment, marketing, sales, operations, etc.
Placement Experience
The campus placements began in November, which is with the 5th semester. The placements were really great. within the first 2 months, almost 80% of the eligible students were placed. Companies like Infosys, E&Y, PWC, KPMG, Wipro, Panasonic, Dell, Oracle, Accenture, etc visited.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a certain hike in the fees every year keeping in mind the inflation and cost of resources. There are multiple scholarships provided by the college which a student can avail during their 2 years of journey.
Campus Life
The campus life is really fun and strict at the same time. There are some or the other events which keep on happening every day. The library has over 10000+ wide range of books. At the same time, if a student needs a book, it is made available by the library. All the classrooms are equipped with AC, Projector, desktop. There is one smart screen classroom as well. There are various clubs like the Markxime, Finitiative, Xops, Hruday, Xseed, Empressario, Madx etc.
Hostel Facilities
All the rooms are 2 seats. The hostels are really clean and they are really quick in getting things repaired. Mess food is better than many other campuses. Once can happily survive on the food. It is a residential program so everyone needs to signup for the hostel.
Interview Experience
Yes, there was a Group Discussion round for us. Next, there was a Personal Interview. The personal interview was more focused on knowing the candidate and if he or she can handle the pressure. there were no such technical questions. Some questions were: About yourself, academics, hobbies, achievements, etc.
