Remarks
Eligibility of the Course based on your graduation percentage. Students who graduated from the same university with a minimum of 55% marks do not need to appear for entrance exams. Students who graduated from the University of Calcutta and have below 55% and students from different universities need to mandatorily take the entrance exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Ancient Indian History and Culture because of my interest in the ancient historical period as well as my inclined interest in mythology about ancient history. A total of 8 faculty members along with a total capacity of 120 students can be found. The faculty have their Ph.D. and are highly efficient in their teaching method. the facility is strong.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is minimal with 600rs per semester and a total of 600rs during admission. State-level Scholarships and National level scholarships are applicable. Students are eligible for different scholarships that they might have applied at different levels and based on their eligibility.
Campus Life
The campus life is highly efficient as well quite friendly. I have been a part of the Alipore Campus in Kolkata and the student, as well as teaching environment, is very friendly and very cooperative. From the canteen to washroom amenities are highly efficient, there is the presence of a Political Party based students union strong enough.
