Remarks
In 12th Standard our subjects should be Physics Chemistry and Maths as total cutoff will be taken from these subjects.There is no Specific entrance exam needed to get admission into Panimalar Engineering College.We can get admission through Counselling under Anna University as well as Management Quota.I gone through Counselling.I opted for B.Tech Information Technology.My Cutoff is 183.5.The Cutoff usually ranges between 180-190 marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for B.tech Information Technology.I choose this stream because my Goal is to work in IT field.Faculties are highly experienced and their method of teaching is very good as we can easily grasp the concepts.Faculties are ready to solve our doubts.There will be lot of practical teaching which helps us a lot to get Practical exposure of theoritical concepts. For each subject they will allocate a separate staff.Totally there will be three internals which really helps us to cover all the topics which is required for semester exams.The Notes are really helpful which will be prepared by our faculties.
Internships Opportunities
We can get internships during our 6th semester.College can improve in this as usually there will be very less number of companies will offer internships.College can bring more companies which offer internships.
Placement Experience
Students who are in 7th semester can attend all the companies which is coming for placements.Companies like LTI Infosys Accenture Cognizant etc will come for hiring.Internships will be offered during 6th semester.90% of the students in our batch got placed.The package usually ranges between 3.5-9 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees will be Rs 1,25,000 per year.If we are First Graduates of our family then there will be a deduction of Rs 20,000 from our fees per yearI got a campus job offer during my 8 th semester itself.My package is 3.75 LPA per annum and i got stipend of rs 15,000 during my Training period.
Campus Life
For every department we are having Library.We can borrow books.Symposiums Intra College Activities will happen twice a year.Entreprenuer Clubs and Cultural Activities club are also present.The campus is really greenery which gives us pleasant vibe while entering into college itself.
