My Degree College

I opted for KCET which is Karnataka state entrance exam and I got ranked around 38,000 so in that first round selection I opted for this college.

As i am interested in electronics and choosen the electrics and communication stream and now I am in final year the teaching was better. This is the course very familiar with all but some students say that this is the hard stream but a little bit study required to get cracked with degree.

There is no any internship but we get stipend by Karnataka government. But in recently they are providing with placement training under government scheme and making us to attend some off campus placements.

Till the last year there were no any placements to college but they use to allow us to attend the placement like pool campus in other colleges mostly in Mysore. But this year means 2016 we got an opportunity to attend placement training by Karnataka government and they are offering placements.

Every year we celebrate the events such as fresher party, farewell party and college day function,teacher day,engineers day etc. We extra curricular activities sports,and other events and for engineers day we keep blood donation camp.

We need to pay rs18000/- for first year and the 15000/- for other three year. And there will be of rs600/- exam fee for each semester and they might collect other fees for small amount.

There are no any such facility by college but we can get scholarship by government of Karnataka if we score above 60% and from bcm offices we can loan facility too.

The strength in college are almost full seat. Boys and girls are almost equal on strength we have friends birthday parties in hostel, and in college they conduct several cultural activities too example in dussera fest function in city and also in college day function.

Tha college is under VTU Belgaum, and the college exams are also conducted by them and there will three internal exams and one main exam for each semesters. And total marks for each sem are 900.

The college is under government management and the faculty members.All are appointed by government and all are well in teaching also along with teaching. They try to teach us with practical also and practical laba are also better.
