Remarks
Roughly speaking regarding the eligibility criteria score more than 60% marks in your Hs or have some inner connection from authorities if marks are lower than this then you would be given admission. Entire admission has been offline mode in the college. Fill out the application form from the office and then stand in along queue for its submission etc. Then your name appears in cut-off list and you are given admission. The only good thing in the process is no reservations system.
Course Curriculum Overview
In order to obtain a post-graduate degree in future, I took up this course for my graduate degree. There are around 40 students in each class. Teachers are highly skilled professionals and well qualified. They also make us understand the hard topics through industrial visits every month. The term exams are held on a mid-term basis while a few monthly exams also take place.
Placement Experience
Students in their final year are eligible for campus placement where the company like Tcs and Tata are the most renowned offering placement with an average package of 3 lacs and the highest of 9 lacs per annum. Around 49% of students get placement. I want to become a Chartered Accountant in the future.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college introduces the scholarship being announced by the West Bengal Govt every year as it is a govt affiliated college. Students can get that scholarship by filling out an application. Also, the college is providing Students with Credit Card as announced by the Wb govt for which students need to follow the requisite procedure.
Campus Life
The annual fest is organized in August in the college ground named Umang. Throughout the event many dance singing and magic programs take place. Also, few drama and acts are performed. The college has a large library with a large no of books on different topics. Extracurricular activities and sports like cricket and badminton are held in the college. The college has its website.
