GLOBAL ACADEMY , THE UNTOLD STORY

There are basically three ways to get admitted to our college. The first is through Kcet which is conducted by the government of Karnataka. The second is comedk , which is a group of private colleges and the last is through management which is comparatively costly. The application form can be found through Google or kcet website and even in the college. There are no fees for receiving the form, as soon as the counseling starts one can enquire about admission dates through college reception. You can avail of SNQ, sports quota, and NCC. Admission is a lengthy process and requires a lot of paperwork, it would be better online.

Computer science and engineering are some of the leading branches of engineering and one can find a lot of job opportunities. Every department has around 15 teachers and 6 teachers for a class of 60 students. All teachers are well educated with Mtech, ME, and Ph.D. Every month we had internals and every three months once the semester end exam. The questions asked were moderate. All the questions were from textbooks and model question papers.

Many companies have offered internships And many have been offered system analyst, advanced analyst, system engineer, a data analyst from Infosys, TCS, etc. Many projects based on the current industrial requirements have been given.

Students become eligible for campus placements after the fifth semester. Infosys, sap labs, Igate, hp, IBM,Mindtree Etc. around 240+ offers have been made with an average salary of 3.25 lacs PA. The highest is 6.25 lacs PA. 95% of students from CS get placed every year. I would like to pursue my higher studies abroad once completing engineering.

As our institution became autonomous the previous year they have hiked the fees of management and it costs around 92000 for a student coming from kcet, 2 to 2.5 lakhs from comedk, and around 3 lakhs from management. One can avail various scholarships from Jindal , ssb and others . Our institution encourages students to avail more scholarships.

There are many fests being conducted by every department in the college and all these are conducted during September. Especially Ganesh Pooja One can avail any number of books through his I'd card and our library contains many foreign author books and preferred textbooks Classrooms are well ventilated There are various sports one can join and play for the college team. Kalaparva is a cultural group one can join based on the outcome of the audition he has given.
