The admission process was a smooth procedure. JIS has its own entrance exam and it is comparatively easier. Application forms and other details can be found on the official website of JIS University.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had an inclination towards biology and when I didn't get NEET, I was very disappointed so I took admission in biotechnology honours but here also we have lots of opportunities. The faculties at JIS University are very helpful and the environment is very friendly.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

There are few companies that have visited like Accenture for customer support, byjus, powell laboratories. I plan to do my master's in biotechnology after getting the degree. There are very few students who take up job after bsc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is provided on the university website. However, for b.sc Biotechnology, the fee is 30,000 per semester. The laboratories are huge and very well equipped. I had not received any scholarship.

Campus Life

There were freshers for the 1st-semester students organized by seniors. it was very nice. Other than that there are various ongoing programs like teachers day, Durga puja fest, Saraswati puja. The college infrastructure is also very nice.

Good academics with limited internship opportunities

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

How an average student sees his College

Remarks:

Pros:The teachers very very helpful and friendly. Loans and scholarships available. Faculties are highly qualified. Infrastructure is awesome. Cons: no placement. No stipends There wasn’t any hostel facility. Canteen could be developed.
