Remarks
I have completed my diploma from Government Polytechnic College Rajkot and then went for ACPDC Counselling via acpdc website and paid 300rs fees. As such Government Engineering College Rajkot is also in Rajkot so I chose this college and also get addmition as my results fit in Cutoffs. I got Admition in 3rd semester where class of 120 were already there and Diploma to degree 30studets also joined so our class size is 30. As such I'm from general class so I didn't get reservation benefits their are very less sheets reserved for backwards classes. Entire process was online from form filling to document verification and fees payment.
Course Curriculum Overview
As such I have Complted my Diploma in Electronics and Communication so choosen this stream to continue and take full degree in it. I have found that we have 3-4 faculty in a single Subject for entire class so you can say that thier is 1faculty for every 50students. In every subject atleast one professor is a phd holder and others have minimum qualification of Master's. We have given one mid semester exam and going to appear in end semester and it's same for all semester.
Placement Experience
We will be eligible for placement in our final year and the college invites many companies like TCS, GTPL, etc. According to previous record of our senior we can easily get 30k to 35k package according to our capabilities. And most of people get easily placed. I'm going to appear in gate exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are the biggest attraction for every government college in Gujarat. I have just payed 1500rs to accept the sheet and it's the fees for entire year and now every year we have to just pay 1500rs for 1year. Also we have to pay just exam fees additionally which is around 500to 800 for every semester. Student from obc, ews, scst get scholarship accordingly. Major Scholarship are MYSY and also digital Gujarat is very much famus in Gujarat.
Campus Life
Every year many fests are orgainsed in college but Brezinger is most popular in Entire Gujarat and students from different colleges visit our college for this fest. The library has one of the best collections of books all you just need a library card provided by the college to access the library for free. The library has a great floor area and the best sheeting arrangement. The sports facility is very poor in college. The college has many social groups and clubs like NCC, NSS, Coders for electronic, Chode Cheff, etc, etc
