Remarks
You should clear jee mains entrance exam and your 12 board percentage should be greater than 75. You can get admission to this college if your general category rank is below 75,000 in jee mains. In the admission process, there are reservation benefits but the fee structure is the same for all.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because of the variety of scope it gives as said it is an evergreen branch. All the faculties are either done their Ph.D. or Mtech from renowned universities. Some faculties are exceptional in teaching such as Mr. Anup good sir, but some faculties are not so good so you have to study that subject on your own. Every sem has 3 papers, 2 mid sem, and 1 end sem. If you study properly you will manage to pass easily.
Internships Opportunities
This college focuses on internships and projects and gives you the opportunity for 3 years. Now I am in 2 years of this college doesn't know much information about the company's offering internship and stipend they give. But the response from my seniors about this is highly positive.
Placement Experience
After 6 sem company's start to arrive in the college. Several company's come here and give an average 5Lpa package but surprisingly this year for the 2022 pass-out batch avg was 7.5Lpa which is the highest for core colleges. So, that's very good news. For the 2022 pass-out, the highest package was 9.45Lpa offered by Vedanta resources and avg was 7.5Lpa. In this college, more than 90% of students are getting placed. I will join the core company if I get on the job but side by side preparing for the entrance exam also.
Fees and Financial Aid
It is a government college so each year fee is only 51000. So the cost to study is very much affordable. You will get a scholarship If you hold the reservation. 2023 pass out batch campus interview till now more than 60% students are placed. In the 2019 pass-out batch, 95% of students were placed.
Campus Life
Generally, annual fest happens to be in February called jinks and in summer usually tech fest happen. The Library of this college is excellent. Every core book you will find out here and you will get well-maintained facility. Sports and extracurricular activities happen every month. There are Facebook pages for every club. Just search nift and you will get everything on Facebook. College life is overall good. You will not regret it.
Hostel Facilities
In the first-year hostel room, 3 people will be accommodated, in the 2-year hostel room 2 people and in the 3/4 year hostel room you will be having single accommodation. In rooms, you will have a single bed, almirah, table, and chair. All basic amenities are provided. Mess food is above average over here. Full week mess food is scheduled over here and served accordingly.
