Remarks
NIT Delhi is one of the best engineering colleges in India and when we want to be part of such a good college we have to work very hard in our academics and as well as in JEE. I also worked very hard and was able to crack the cutoff list of NIT Delhi. I appeared for JOSAA counselling and was able to grab the seat for the CSE program in which I was interested. The admission process was simple and smooth. The staff was cooperative and supportive.
Course Curriculum Overview
I felt that the curriculum of the program is one of the best as the curriculum is very interactive. The curriculum uses case studies, simulative activity, project work, and assignment methods for teaching and clearing our concepts. The curriculum is as per the latest industrial guideline and norms.
Internships Opportunities
To be part of the internship we have to register with the placement committee and they take care of our internship program. The internship is mandatory and if any one of us is involved in any kind of research work activity can skip the internship but they have to submit a written assignment according to their research work. The average stipend for the internship is around 55k.
Placement Experience
The placement of NITs are very good and NIT Delhi is very popular for its placement. The college has a 100% placement record. Most importantly the placement committee plays a very crucial role in it. The committee is able to invite good companies for placement and they work as a guiding force for us during the placement rounds. The highest placement package for our batch was around 36 LPA and the average placement package was around 18 LPA. Few of my batchmates receive pre-placement offers during the internship program.
Fees and Financial Aid
The complete average fee for the course is around 4 lakh. Education loan facility is also available and admission staff fully cooperate during the loan process. Campus Life
The campus life of the college is good and friendly. The seniors of the college are cooperative and friendly. Saptrang is the college cultural fest and teraatechnica is the technical fest of the college. The college library is the house of many national and international books from bestseller authors. The college infrastructure is well maintained and the classrooms are very big and properly ventilated. The college provides a good environment for study.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is well maintained. The rooms are good. The rooms have basic facilities like beds, study tables and almirahs. The hostel mess food is pretty basic and the drawback is food menu is limited. The hostel wardens are cooperative and staff work very hard to maintain the decorum of the hostel. The hostel facilities are pretty basic and the price is very reasonable. As per the price, the hostel stay is good and the facilities are also good according to the hostel price.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is good. The faculty is of PhD level with good research work experience from the top-notch universities of India. The faculty is very cooperative too.
