The eligibility of the course is he/she will be 12th pass and also based on jee percentile. The application form is available on the college site there are no application fees the application dates are also mentioned on the college site. There is a reservation for sc/ST candidates.

As I am from the science field and always have the dream to become an engineer. There are enough teachers available and the class size is about 50 students approx in each. The teachers are highly experienced. There are 2 semesters in 1 year followed by two mid-terms in each semester.

Internships Opportunities

There is a placement and internship cell in the college that provides guidance to the students and shares information with the students and organizes different webinars for student welfare.

Placement Experience

From the end of the fourth-semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies include tcs, American express, Paytm, etc. The recent highest package is 14 lakhs/annum and the average package is about 3 to 4 lakhs/annum. 60% of students get the placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee of the course is 65000 and each sem consists of 35000. The fee is half for the sc /st students. There is Pragati scholarship for girls which are belong to financial weaker sections etc.

Campus Life

There are a number of fests conducted by the college followed by a fresher party, Garba night, new year's eve, etc. There are lots of books available in the library including gate, and programming books. There is a platform for volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, etc. There is an eco-club and more.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

I chose GMEC Ajmer because it is one of the govt. engg. college exclusively for women in Rajasthan. Compared to other colleges I applied for , GMEC stood out due to its affordable fee structure, goverment statuss, experiencd faculty, and strong focus on core engineering branches. I also applied to private colleges by WBJEE and cuet exam and got selected in bs degrees . but i choose GMEC because i wanted to opt b.tech degree .
