IIIT Allahabad is one of the top-rated engineering colleges in India. B.Tech ECE program is the flagship course of the college. What can be a better opportunity to start my undergraduate program at such a prestigious university? The placement of the college is also very good, the college has collaborated with ISRO. As the college perfectly fits my preference and during my JOSAA counseling I opted for the college as I was able to meet the cutoff criteria for the ECE program. AS soon I was allotted the seat I immediately moved forward with the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the college is very good and interesting and it feels a little lengthy probably because the curriculum is regularly updated as per the industrial norms to keep us updated. The curriculum helps us to develop our innovative ideas and skills so that we can easily learn the concepts and fundamentals.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is mandatory and we have to take part in an internship we cannot skip it as the internship is part of the curriculum and we also have to submit the written assignments after completing the internship about the experiences and learning during our internship program. The average stipend for the internship is around 45k.
Placement Experience
The college provides good placements. The college has a record of 100% placements. The college placement committee plays a very important role during our placement as we have to register our details with the college placement committee and they make sure that we are placed with good packages and in good company as per our interest. The highest package for our batch was around 38 LPA and the average package was around 15 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The average course fee of the program is 9 lakh. The return on investment according to the fee is also good. The education loan facility is also available you can take the help of the admission department for an education loan. The scholarship on a merit basis and scholarship for SC/ST/PWD is also available.
Campus Life
The college infrastructure is well maintained. The seniors and the administrative staff of the college are very cooperative. Effervescence is the cultural fest of the college, Aparoksha is a technical fest of the college, and Asmita annual sports fest of the college for which we eagerly wait. The library is the house of lots of books from international bestsellers. The classrooms are modernly equipped with projector screens and recording equipment to record the lectures. The college provides a good environment for studies.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel life of the college is good. The wardens and the staff maintain the decorum very well. The environment of the hostel is very friendly and cooperative. The hostel mess food quality is also good and tasty the menu is very vast. The hostel provides us with 24 hours of water, power, and high-speed WiFi connectivity. The hostel has all types of facilities available for us. At the price point of 12000, the stay at the hostel is worth it.
Faculty
The faculty is of Ph.D. level with good research work experience from the top universities of India. The faculty is very cooperative and friendly they guide us and motivate us to perform and they help us during the research work.
