Remarks
I have taken admission in MBA FA (2013-15) batch at ICOFP Delhi campus. The program curriculum is excellent and it prepares you to qualify for all the 3 levels of CFA exams as well. Additionally, I would like to thank to Ankur sir (program head - MBA FA Program) who personally assisted every CFA aspirant to pass all CFA level exams.
Course Curriculum Overview
Excellent curriculum. It is totally relevant to the industry you get placed after the program. As far as the faculty members are concerned, not just the college faculty but we have learn many lectures from famous personalities in finance industry as well.
Internships Opportunities
ICOFP usually offer internship after 2nd semester but I have not taken an internship as I was preparing for CFA along with my MBA FA Program. Usually students get internships of 20k - 25k with Banks/ KPOs/ Fund housed/ Research Houses etc.
Placement Experience
I have got a campus placement of 5.6 Lacs as an equity research analyst with KPMG. With my batch, the highest package offered is of 9.2 Lacs by HumFauji. Usually I have seen 5 companies regularly visiting at ICOFP for placements are KPMG, HumFauji, E&Y etc. 100% of my batchmate get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
For fee, I have taken 60% loan from bank and rest paid by myself. The college itself helps you get the loan approved from the bank. Many banks offer education loans if you study from ICOFP. You may get a scholarship if you are financially weak / you have scored 80% throughout your academic career.
Campus Life
Tarang is the annual fest run by ICOFP college every year. Every book which is required to study is available in the library. In terms of social activities, the college keep running several tournaments and fun activities.
