Own Experience in the college

In the coming years, it will be the best college in North East due to its location, natural beauty. There should need more attention towards the faculties and clubs. Since it's one of the NIT's so don't be worried you can get admission here.

The course for each semester is timely covered and exams also happen on time. One needs to be attentive in class and revise your class note, you can get good grades in the semester exam. You also try to maintain your grade in each semester atleast 7CGPA, because it matters a lot during placement.

After the 4th-semester students are allowed to get internships in various core and IT companies with 1-2 months of duration in which you get a lot of experience. In the last year, you will have to do project work depending upon your interest in the core branch. Project work is very important, even companies ask you regarding your project work during the placement.

You can get a good placement if you work well in your subject well, try to maintain good grades in the semester exam. In the year 2020, 80-85% of ECE students got placed in various core and IT companies. I want to get a job after my BTech then I will try my own startup.

There are many scholarships you get once you get admission for BTech. the national scholarship, Tata scholarship, Jindal scholarship, and many more. You can also get a concession fee depending on your parent's annual income certificate.

There are many clubs and social groups including cultural festivals, Statehood day, and some special State festivals. There is a cricket ground, football and even you can get inside game available in the game club. There is construction going on for the Central Library, which will resume soon.

Initially, this college was running in temporary campus but its permanent campus has been set up in Jote, so locals people are far away from college it will be better to choose a college hostel. Hostel rooms are very good you can get all the basic equipment.
