IIIT Manipur Review

I was allotted the college during my JOSAA. The college is good and the infrastructure is well maintained. The faculty of the college is very good and cooperative. B.Tech is the college flagship course and after spending a few days in the college I realize that the curriculum of the college is up to the mark. To be part of IIIT Manipur one has to clear JEE exam and must secure 75% in 10+2.

The curriculum of the college is very good and the curriculum is as per the industrial guidelines and standards. The curriculum uses case study and quizzes competition methods to clear the concepts of the program. The curriculum of the college properly syncs with real-world scenarios. The faculty is also very cooperative. The college is itself very popular for the standards of the faculty. The faculty properly guides us and help us during our time in the college.

Around 30 companies visited our campus during the time of the internship. We have to register our details with the college placement committee for taking part in the college internship program and we can also opt for an off-campus internship. The internship helps us to gain some professional experience. The average stipend for the internship is around 44k.

The college placement is good the only drawback is the college is new so the number of packages is a little low in comparison to other IIIT colleges. The placement committee plays an important role during the placement drive as the committee is able to invite a good number of companies and they help us and guide us during the time of placement. The highest package for our batch was around 12 LPA and the average package was approx 8 LPA.

The college infrastructure is very well maintained and the college seniors and the administrative staff is very cooperative and friendly. The entire campus has a high-speed WiFi facility. The classrooms are very well maintained and properly ventilated. The library is equipped with many national international books and all types of academic books are also available in the library.

The hostel infrastructure is properly maintained and the rooms are properly ventilated. The rooms are available on sharing basis and rooms are equipped with beds, almirahs and study tables for every one of us. The hostel also provides us with a high-speed WiFi facility around the hostel campus. The mess food quality is good. The wardens of the hostel are friendly and cooperative and the staff hostel staff work really very hard to maintain the hostel decorum. At the price point of 7000, the hostel is worth it.
