The admission process was really smooth in my opinion. The official website's interface was user friendly as well. It wasn't that daunting of a task to submit the required information. Moreover, the college staff was also very cooperative when it comes to any queries or issues regarding admission. The only thing that some people may complain about is the mark submission phase of the process. See the percentage is to be calculated out of all 6 subjects, not just the main 5. Many of the students including some of my own classmates committed this mistake while filling up the form. So that thing should be kept in mind while filling up the form. The university has it mentioned in their prospectus but still, It would be really helpful if they would display a small asterisk(*) or note on their website to alert the students. Also, if you have committed any mistake be sure to contact the admission help desk via email and explain the situation to them properly. They will surely help you out.

If you have an interest in English Literature and want to pursue it as a career then BA English is just the right thing for you. You will learn about everything starting from the history of English Literature as a whole to many of its fascinating works that have been read countless times throughout its existence. You will be introduced to many technical terms regarding Literature and the English language itself. Their Outstanding Guidance will surely leave a mark in your heart. And about the exams. Well if you carefully listen to all the lectures and make notes that you can review later, you should be fine. Moreover, there will be 6 semesters, 2 in each year.

The fee structure is rather affordable if compared to other courses out there. It should be around 4980 for boys and 4800 for girls as well as for Students of SC ST Catagories ( boys and girls included ). The Campus provides many opportunities to the students including a library and hostel facilities. Many Buildings are newly constructed and are really well suited for teaching and learning processes. For subjects that require practicals, there are different labs that the students can use to gain actual practical knowledge of the subject. Many events and competitions keep happening throughout the year. Students can join these and display their talents to their heart's content. Plus the exposure to many students will surely bring about a positive change to your mindset and lifestyle.

There are around 7 hostels in this university ( 3 for boys, 3 for girls and 1 for + 2 boys ) as far as I know I live in Silver Jubilee Hostel. Rooms are big enough for 5 people to live in but most likely you will have 3 people living in the same room. You get all the basic facilities that you may need like water and electricity. Toilets are regularly cleaned and well maintained. Sanitizers are also installed at the hostel entrance. You will be provided 2 meals per day, each priced around 34 rupees, which is pretty cheap. The actual Meal quality Is good enough. Moreover the seniors are all very supportive and will guide you properly as you spend your days in the hostel. You will meet students from many parts of Odisha and the experience will surely be entertaining to say the least.
