Life at KCCITM, Greater Noida

I was granted admission on the basis of my percentage in class 12th. Students who have scored more than 60% in their class 12th PCM subjects are eligible for B.tech Course. Application forms are available online.

I am currently pursuing B.Tech CSE in KCCITM. The reason I chose this course out of all the courses available here is that I had some pre-knowledge of a few computer languages; my interest in coding is also a reason for choosing this course. According to the statistics of last year, 85% of companies visiting campus are tech-oriented and hence there are ample amount of opportunities. The student-faculty ratio is 1:60. Every faculty here is well qualified and cooperative.

The college has tied up with various MNCs for the internship programme, as a part of the Curriculum provided by AICTE. These companies offer a good stipend to deserving students. and they do absorb a few of the students on the basis of their performance in the tenure.

The percentage of students getting recruited increases every year. The placement cell is quite active. Students are required to have at least 70% to sit for placements. Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 5th semester onwards. The highest package offered last year was 12 LPA and the average package was 4.5lpa. More than 85% of the students are placed in core companies.

Per semester fees are 47,500 which is less than other colleges in Greater Noida. There are various scholarships for meritious students on the basis of their class 12th score. Every year scholarships are offered to students on the basis of their ranking in semester-end exams. This year more than 85% of the students were placed in core companies. Last year the highest package offered was 12lpa.

Every year before the beginning of a new semester an Annual fest is conducted in KCCITM. There's no need for students to buy books as the college library offers a book bank and students are provided with required books from college facilites themselves without any charges. Every floor has it's own seminar hall where smart classes are conducted. There's a gym, volleyball, basketball and tennis court as well. There are a number of clubs in college, some of them being; dance, music, drama, photography, art, social, etc.

KCC Hostels are known for their remarkable facilities. The food provided by the hostel is delicious and every room is clean, spacious and ventilated. A proper menu has been decided for every day with a lot of options in a menu. The registration process for hostel is quite easy. There's single, double, and triple occupancy available alongside the dormitory.
