The college is overall good it is a good college if you seriously want to learn management the college is a budding place for entrepreneurs and the management of the college is very good.
Entrance Preview
I had given mt SET in may i scored 90 out of 150 in the exam i opted for symbiosis because it was the 2nd best college for BBA and has good amount of extra circular activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good it is interesting to study as you get a option in the second year to specialize the subject you want in the first year they expose you to all subjects that you can specialize in the second year.
Internships Opportunities
In first we had corporate research projects from various companies which have helped students to get an outlook about the industry there are various research projects for marketing and entrepreneurship.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of the college is powerful and has got good companies. Companies like KPMG, GROFERS, PWC & THE GREAT PLACE TO WORK have come. The packages have gone from 2,75,000 to 4,00,000. There are many more companies yet to come we have zomato which also comes for placement.
College Events
The prime event in our college is sympulse it takes places every year in January.There are other events too like cult nites where only first years can be part of it.Thus it is a inter class competition. Then we have different clubs in college and they have their own events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is good the fees are feasible the college provides a life insurance to each student worth 1,00,000 the annual fees of college is 2,00,000.
Fees and Financial Aid
I do not know much about this thus i cannot let you know about it there are scholarship for those students who go on GIp -global immersion program and for that they have to pass a interview.
Campus Life
Campus life at scms is wonderful it is very lively you almost spend your entire day at college there are 12 clubs in college there are events of each and ever club the college also sends for many outstation festivals thus gives a chance to students to excel in their talent.
Hostel Facilities
The college does not have its boys hostel it has three girls hostels of its own they have tie ups with private hostels there are hostel which offer you a room at 90,000 to hostels where the price is 2,75,000 the food is good in my hostel i would recommend a first year student to stay in a hostel for a year then shift to a flat.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of SCMS is powerful we have AMA in college where you can ask the alumni anything you want the relationship of the senior students with juniors is good they are supportive.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is good so there is 40 marks internals and 60 marks externals there are two internal test conducted and the best of two marks are taken into consideration. There is a mcq test conducted at the end of the semester in each subject.
Faculty
The faculty is good they are experienced in the subject they teach they use a lot of examples while teaching thus the student can relate to the content and gets prepared in class only for the exam.
