A Glance At GMU

The process was relatively easy and smooth. Online registration was very convenient and simple. The interface was quite user-friendly and filling in the various information required was not at all difficult. Students had no problem applying for different subjects. The offline registration process also went without a hitch. Teachers were really cooperative and the youth volunteer also contributed to the cause. The only point to note is that there was a slight delay in the start. Otherwise, there was no other problem.

There are 4 faculty members in the department of English. All of them are really experienced in their fields. All of them are Ph.D. holders. They are co-operative and their style of teaching is easy to understand. You just have to listen to them carefully and soon you will have a firm grasp of the subject. The course syllabus is vast and interesting for an Admirer of Literature. Creative freedom is very much encouraged and appreciated among us. The semester and internal exams were conducted in a proper manner and were also challenging enough for the students.

We had to pay around 5000 for the admission and the course fee is about 4800 (for boys) and around 4000 (for Sc St students and for girls). The price isn't that high. In fact, this price is quite affordable for many students. Also if you think about it then you can further decrease the price by availing of various scholarships like state scholarship and Vikas educational trust scholarship.

College life is quite lively as it is filled with competition and experience from seniors and classmates. Annual athletics also adds to the charm of the University. Sports such as running, throws, jumps, and other team sports like cricket and badminton are organized. Exposure to all kinds of activities enhances the thoughts and the personality of the students. They obtain many qualities like leadership and teamwork. Rational thinking is promoted. Student Foundations like ABVP also play a major role in the participation of students in various charity works.
