IIIT Ranchi Review

B.Tech CSE program is the most known course of IIIT Ranchi and I was also looking for a college with good faculty and a low crowd. I was given the seat in IIIT Ranchi during my JOSAA counselling after clearing JEE exam and securing 70% marks is 10+2 also as per my eligibility criteria IIIT Ranchi was best for me. I was also interested in the CSE course and I got the college in which I was interested.

The curriculum of the college follows all the international guidelines and standards. The curriculum is designed to impart complete knowledge of coding and develop our leadership skills and managerial ability so that we are able to meet the highest corporate world pressure and succeed. The facility of the college are highly experienced and master in their respective subjects. The faculty of the college are of PhD standards with good research experience and industrial exposure from the top universities of India. The teaching methods of the faculty are simple and there is a lot of teacher and student interaction during the lecture which helps us to understand our syllabus more deeply.

The college provides internships after completing the 3rd year of our program. Not only do we have to register our details with the college committee but take the guidance of the placement committee to select the company for internship. The average internship stipend was 55k.

The college has achieved a very good record of placement. The college has made its name and is very famous for its placement standards. The college placement committee plays a very important role during our placement rounds they not only support us but also guide us in each step and rounds of placement. The highest package for our batch was approx 20 LPA and the average package was around 7.50 LPA.

The college provides scholarships on a merit basis as per the academic performance and the college also provides financial assistance as per the family income and scholarship on the basis of family income is also available. The college has friendly vibes. Everyone around the college campus whether it be staff, faculty or even the administrative staff all are cooperative and very friendly. The college classrooms are properly ventilated and big enough to accommodate around 80-90 persona at a time. The college library is the house of many national and international books and many academic books related to our stream are available in the library.

The hostel infrastructure is very well maintained and the rooms are like 3bhk and 4bhk models. The rooms are available and a triple and double sharing basis. the rooms are properly cleaned and the bathrooms are also regularly cleaned. The mess food of the hostel is good and the food is cooked in a hygienic space. The hostel has 24 hours of water and powers supple and even hot water supply during the winter. The hostel has all kinds of facilities available for us.
