A Short Review on Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College

The Admission process is common as remaining colleges through the AP EAMCET examination. But requires a good rank (below 10k). You have to apply for the entrance examination i.e. AP EAMCET and after completion of the exam, you have to register for counselling. Then you can opt for the courses you wish to join in this college. Below 10k rank is good enough to avail seat in this college. And if u have any reservation benefits then it will be easy for u to get a seat.

I chose this college especially for computer science and engineering as it provides good placement opportunities not only for cse but remaining branches too. It has good facilities for labs, teaching, placement training and so on. Most of the faculty are ph.D holders and experienced professors to guide us on a better path. You can do other technical stuff while preparing for the exams. Exams are moderate to pass not that tough. You have 2 midterms exams for 1 semester and 2 semesters per year.

You have to do projects in 3-1 and thereafter or even in the 2nd semester, you can apply for internships. Many students are getting internships in good companies like TCS, Wipro, cognizant and so on. Also many got PPO's(pre placement offers).

Our college is one of the best for getting placement opportunities in AP. You are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. Many companies like Amazon, Wipro, IBM, TCS visit our college to recruit students and last year our college got around 1831 offers with the highest package of 44.3LPA and avg package of 7.8 LPA.

The tuition fee is around 70k per year and apart from that, you have to pay the building and library fee. If you are eligible for a JVD scholarship then you don't need to pay 70k. For those who don't avail JVD scholarship it will be difficult to pay the fee as you also have to pay the hostel and mess fee. You can apply for scholarships( if any ) under the reservation category or any. You can also take help from college management to apply for scholarships.

We have annual day celebrations in the month of march and a fest called Mohan Mantra which will be celebrated in the month of September. We have a world class library where you can find a number of books, journals and also a digital library. We have sports activities and contest frequently and have many benefits for participating in the campus sports activities.
