Remarks
If you want a computer science branch then your rank should below 80000. My rank was 232230 so I can't opt for this branch. You can apply for this college by appearing in JEE mains and after that, you can go through MP DTE counselling by filling your choice as MITS. If you come from OBC or ST / SE then you can opt for very good branches like IT or Computer Science even if your JEE rank is low (90,000-1,00,000) but if you belong to the general category then your rank should be between 50,000- 70,000 approx if you want CSE or IT. The fees of this college are very very high so this is the one disadvantage of taking this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
In the online mode, it was not difficult but in the offline mode, there is some difficulty because there are lots of other courses other than core subjects in which it is mandatory to pass. There are 2 mid sems and one end sem.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester students can sit in placement. There are some companies that visit MITS are TCS , Infosys , L&T, Accenture etc. The average package is 3.5-4 LPA and highest package is 10 LPA. Almost 50% students get placed every year. My plans after getting degree is placed in a some good company.
Fees and Financial Aid
I applied for Post matric scholarship for obc in 2021 which I haven't got yet. But it seems to come soon the scholarship announcement I will get is 26800. There is one more scholarship provided by the college itself is an alumni scholarship for meritorious students.
Campus Life
There are lots of clubs you can see in MITS like IETE, ISTE, HHC, Sports, Codechef club etc etc. There are almost 60 clubs you can see. There are separate Instagram pages, where you can see more information. And you can refer mitsgwl.com as college website.
