College like SASTRA University is a very good option after IIT and NITs. If anyone is not able to clear the cutoff criteria can opt for Sastra University it is a very good university with a very good package and is ranked among the top universities of India. the college USP is that if anyone who has not appeared for JEE but has good marks in 10+2 can also take admission to Sastra University. Admission on the basis of JEE scores and 10+2 scores is also provided. I was not able to appear for JEE due to some health-related problem but my academic score was very good so I applied for admission through the college official website and I was shortlisted and called for the PI round which I cleared.

The curriculum is very detailed and up to date. The curriculum helps us to understand all the basics of coding. The curriculum helps us to understand coding from beginner level to advance level. The faculty of the college is also expert and the college also does not compromise with the quality of the faculty. The faculty is not only of PhD standards but they are masters in their domain. the faculty also has industrial experience which is very helpful for us.

The college provides internships in companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TCS. We are eligible for the internship after completing the three years of our program. The college placement committee helps us to choose companies for internships. The stipend for the internship ranges from 18000 to 75000.

The college is very popular for its placement quality. The college has a record of 100% placement. The college placement committee plays a very important role in providing good placement packages. As the college placement committee is full of professional and cooperative faculty with good industrial exposure with the help of their contact they are able to invite a good number of companies for placement. The highest package for placement is around 28 LPA and the average package was around 10 LPA.

The college course fee is around 5 lakh which is very affordable in comparison to other top colleges. The college offer scholarship on good academic performance and financial aid is also offered to female and SC/ST and financial support are also provided on the basis of academic performance.

The college campus life is very good. Colosseum is the annual sports event of the college which is one of the biggest sports events of Tamil Nadu as many other universities of the state take part in the sports competition, Daksh is the technical fest where we get an opportunity to demonstrate our coding and innovative skills and Kurukshetra is the college cultural fest. The college has sports facilities like badminton, volleyball, basketball court etc. The college library is the house of many bestsellers authors books from the national and international levels.

The hostel is very well maintained. The rooms are available according to the individual budget on sharing basis or single accommodation basis. The hostel mess food is average and the menu keeps on changing on regular intervals. The hostel warden and staff is very cooperative and professional. The hostel has a WiFi facility around the hostel campus. The hostel also provides us with 24 hours of water and power supply.
