All my experience with the college was simply superb if at all possible I would take a another course just for the learning experience.
Entrance Preview
MCA entrance exam at anna university, received 5.8/10 to get admission. I wanted to do couse in the renowned university for a long, couldnt join for my graduation but managed to get into the master degree this is an experience of a life time.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was one of the best curriculum which was updated almost in real time did an elective in all and natural language processing enjoyed every minute of it.
Internships Opportunities
Internship was not the norm at that time but we had worked on small project in the subjects of our choosing we took multiple subject did many projects in team of 3.
Placement Experience
Anna university name itself brings the best companies for campus interviews the best students at that time went to Infosys and then the next tier of companies came in.
College Events
Techofest was our college culturals event and we had one more event for our department. Techofes brought other student for the inter college competitions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees was nominal and far less than today's fee structure it was slightly expensive for the evening non sponsored college but still better than private colleges.
Hostel Facilities
I was not a day scholar so I didn't experience the hostel and mess facilities. Heard from my friends that the food was good as expected with good choice in non veg and veg dishes.
Alumni/Alumna
To bring all old Students, who studied at college of engineering, guindy, under one forum for exchange of Knowledge, skill and experience amongst themselves and to disseminate them to the students of the college and really works.
Exam Structure
It was semester based and by relative grading this grading system is accepted as is even in institutions abroad.
Faculty
The best in the industry is to say the least the professors were the authority in the subject they took you couldn't ask for more. One of the best experience was when my compiler design Mam designed an interpreter with input from 40 student on the fly in the board she did it with so much flair we were mesmerized.
