Nice experience with such esteemed college.

The admission process in my case was very much simple and smooth. Any student who has cleared 12th science with a handsome amount of marks can easily get into our college. All the admission related details like fees structure, application fees, eligibility criteria are given in the brochure which is available on the college's official website. Personally, I got admitted into the tuition fees waiver scheme(tfws) scheme. 5% of seats in our stream is dedicated to tfws quota so, any student having the handsome amount of marks in board exams and gujcet can get admission into this quota. During admission, they organize an orientation program that actually shows the whole infrastructure like labs, campus, clubs, canteens, hostel etc.

I enrolled On mechanical engineering because I always had a habit of dealing with real life problems and had always visualized mechanical concepts in my school so, it was really great opportunity to get in this stream at such an esteemed college. In my department, nearly 20-25 faculty are there and most of them are really helpful. Some of the faculties are also from iit and nit which helps the student to give wide prospect about concepts in a better way. Most of the faculties have done MTech and some of them are pursuing PhD currently. If I consider about exam point of view then there are 2 mid semester exams in each sem which is 40 marks and students need to score 16 marks to pass. The level of exams is pretty moderate anyone can easily clear exams if studied properly. Yes, but management and scheduling of exams could be better and also paper checking should be much more rapid without any delays.

Internship opportunities are available but no stipend will be given from the company side. They believe that we are learning something new so, why should we pay you. On campus internships are available in both technical and non- technical streams. Our campus has the royal Enfield centre of excellence which gives internships to students in their respective dealer workshops which is a really good opportunity. Student always has the option to go for off campus internship just student have to take noc from college. The college itself also give internship to students in marketing and also gives a salary of 10000 rupees based on the target.

Placements in our college are pretty ok. Students get eligible to sit in placement from 7 sem onwards. Numerous companies visit our campus in all streams. In mechanical companies like reliance, Bosch, deep industries have visited our campus. The package they give will be about 1.5 - 2 lakh rupees which are below par, to be honest. They want candidates to go through tough interviews but they don't offer a handsome salary which is a drawback. Nearly 30-40 % of students get placed according to me. The college has a training and placement cell that handles all this stuff. According to me, college should bring more good core companies for mechanical students.

Fees structure is moderate as compared to other colleges in this particular area. Fees for BE is 78000 rupees which is only tuition fees. Hostel fees are nearly 18000 rupees annually. For books students has to pay 6000 rupees which will include all books for entire course. Also college has library where books are available for free to read.college doesn't have any private scholarship schemes but it do avail all the Government scholarships like tfws quota, sc, st quotas .

Campus life good from my perspective. There is total 4 canteens in the campus which provides food at reasonable rates. Overall atmosphere in campus is really fine no ragging or something like that. Techfest is there even year where they motivate us to build something new. In techfest they encourage us to join various clubs present in our campus like IEE, Indian rosewood club, etc. This clubs encourages students to build new prospect in Engineering that would help society. Our college consist of team sparkx which is group of students who make off road atv. Team sparkx has won numerous competition all over India. The college has a cultural fest called as "junoon" which occurs in month of January. Also " talaash" event is there where sports event happens and also various games are played.
