IIIT Manipur Review

As per my academics and as per my JEE score IIIT Manipur seat was allotted to me the first batch was provided with a 50% discount so I also decided to opt for it. The college is new but is definitely worth it to be part of. The college has the potential to compete with the top college of India. The faculty is good and the education quality of the college is very good.

The curriculum is as per the latest industrial laws and international standards. The curriculum is properly synced with real-world scenarios. The curriculum helps us to develop our analytical and decision-making skills. The faculty of the college is also very good and very interactive. the teaching methods of the faculty is so simple that every one of us is properly hooked in the class. The faculty is not only PhD standards but they have really very good industrial experience.

The college has a very good internship program as we were the first batch to take part in the college internship program and I must say that the college made really very good arrangments for internships and around more than 30+ companies were part of the college internship program. the stipend was also available the average stipend was around 45k.

Being the new college it is very tough to invite good companies but the college still manages to invite good numbers of the company and the college was able to reach 100% placement but the highest placement packages were around 14 LPA and the average salary packages was approx 9 LPA. As the college is new but these types of placement offers shows that the college has many more to offer and the college has the potential to compete with top college in future.

We were part of the first batch and the first batch was offered a discount of 50% which bring down our fee to 95k annually means we have to pay around 4 lakh for our B.Tech program and our batch received the average placement package was of around 9 LPA. so the return on investment was good. Currently, college does not have any individual scholarship program but state and central government-funded scholarship programs are available.

The campus life of the college is good. the college infrastructure is good. The college provides very good WiFi connectivity around the campus. the college also celebrates the festivals like Holi and Diwali. The college library is the house of many best selling books from around the world. The college classrooms are also very good.

The hostel has very good facilities. The rooms are on sharing basis. the hostel mess food is okay because the menu of the mess is limited so it is obvious that one can get bored from the menu very soon. The hostel wardens are cooperative and friendly and because of the hostel staff, the hostel decorum is very well maintained. The hostel has all kinds of facilities at the price point of 7000 the college provides very good facilities.
