Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is one of the top-ranked engineering colleges of India and B.Tech is one of the popular courses of the college I wanted to opt for the CSE program and also applied for IIT Bombay but the seats for the CSE program were filled so I choose Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham as the college is very good and the placement of the college is also as per the IIT. I applied for admission to the college from the college website by filling out the admission form and paying an online amount of rs 1000.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the college is very good and the curriculum was recently updated to meet all the latest industrial guidelines and standards. The curriculum of the program is designed to impart to us all the basic and advanced levels of coding techniques and programming systems The college faculty is also very good and they are very helpful. The faculty is not only of Ph.D. level but they also have very good industrial experience which is very helpful for us.

Internships Opportunities

The college has a very good internship program the college placement committee is very supportive during the college internship program. We are provided with the company list so that we can take part in the internship program and chose the companies as per our interest. The average stipend was around 56k.

Placement Experience

I opted for the college due to its placement record. The college has very good placement offers. The college provides 100% placement. the highest packages for the batch were around 54 LPA and the average salary package was around 15 LPA. The college easily competes with the best in business in terms of placement. Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Walmart. ITC and L&T are among the top recruiter of the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college complete fee for the program is around 12 lakh but the average salary package is around 15-16 LPA so the return on investment is very good. Scholarships for SC/ST are available. An education loan facility is also available.

Campus Life

The college infrastructure is very good. The college classrooms are very big and can accommodate us very easily. The college library is the home of many bestseller authors' books from around the world. The college also has sports facilities like cricket ground, football ground, table tennis, basketball court, volleyball court, and badminton court. The college strictly follows a ragging policy.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel has many facilities. To be part of the hostel we have to register for the hostel during the time of admission. The rooms er available on a triple, double and single sharing basis. The hostel has 24 hours of power and water supply. The mess food quality is good and the food is healthy. The warden and the hostel staff is very good and they properly maintain the hostel discipline.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Amrita and its Dubbing voice

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. I couldnt get vit because of high rank, in cuet exam i got seat at pondicherry university. but still chose amrita for its reputation, infrastructure, and curriculum. first you should attend an entrance examination called AEEE escpecially for amrita vishwa vidhyapeetham, which has 2 phases. after both phases you get placed in a ranking system. for each range of ranks each department holds a rank exceptancy of the entrance participants. other than AEEE you can also get throw using JEE marks...Read More

A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
