After my Pre-University boards, I had to prepare for my K-cet examination. Due to the lockdown imposed at the time, I had to do most of my preparation. It consists of 4 exams which are of MCQ type. Based on your results, you allotted a seat in any of the public/private colleges in Karnataka. The process is quite hectic since you are supposed to make a payment to 3 banks mention on the website. The admission process involves the student filling out certain forms and submitting his 10th and 12th final report cards. They let you know further details through the mail which is very thoughtful.

I have a cousin who has done computer science engineering and is doing very well, whom I admire as well. since my ranking was not up to the mark, my cousin had encouraged me to pursue IT. As it was second best to computer science engineering and I have developed interest over time. Each faculty member is responsible for almost 60 students in a class, which they handle really well. They are very well adversed, educated and have a sense of dressing. They not only teach us but provide us with career guidance for our better future. They are easy to approach and to have a conversation with.

At my internship, I have started to improve my skills and learn things by looking at what everybody is doing. Therefore adopting from their strategy but also making certain changes in order to accomplish the goal, is a lot easier. Also, I learned a lot about myself by interacting with other colleagues.

The placements in CMR University are excellent and the placement is above 85% every year, with the highest package consisting of 170000 lakhs. We have had too many students in CMR University for the last 4 years, literally. The placement committee tends to get recruiters who hire on a large scale. So TCS, ACCENTURE and WIPRO are the top IT companies here. Most of the IT companies are the main recruiters here

Every student who gets a seat through an entrance exam has a lesser fee amount whereas a student who comes in through a management seat has to pay a huge amount. The fees for the first year in my college was 103000, which is expensive considering that it is a newly built college and is located far away from the city. But other than that the college is well equipped with the necessary amenities. Plus this college provides almost all the activities and facilities. We have a large library which is equipped with free wifi and computer systems. It also has books related to all the courses.

The College campus is really nice and clean which is also quite peaceful due to the college being surrounded by trees. The teachers are very helpful and guide so that we perfect our skills whereas the staff is very friendly. The location is quite far from the city but is surrounded by a huge pond. It is far away from the bus stop as well which does not have well equipped roads. The college provides us with multiple clubs and festivities. However, in the end, it feels great to be there, spending time with my friends feels special.
